WebDec 11, 2012 · Brazil is certainly a visual feast for the eyes and it’s never really looked more stunning than it does on this new Blu-ray. Criterion has done a superb job with this disc and it’s been personally supervised by director Terry Gilliam himself along with a “Transfer Supervisor” Maria Palazzola as well as a few others. WebApr 11, 2024 · This new edition of Brazil presents the film in the aspect ratio of 1.78:1 on a dual-layer disc. The image has now been enhanced for widescreen televisions. Criterion’s non-anamorphic edition didn’t look too bad for what it was but on a widescreen television it does look fairly heinous, littered with compression noise and jagged edges.
