Nations practicing a full democracy have political cultures such that freedom and civil liberties are upheld. All of the arms of government such as the executive and judiciary are independent. WebIt is no wonder then that in the US, voter turnout tends to be way lower than in many established democracies, with only about 55.7% of eligible voters casting their vote in 2016.
