Web11 jun. 2024 · Hello folks, thanks for getting back to me.. Apparently I had the issue under my nose. To being with hostapd ignores any hw_mode other than a and g, and I had it set on N, secondly it totally ignored what I had in rc.conf related to it; ifconfig_wlan0="ssid fanculo mode 11n channel 11", and for some reason this was preventing hostapd to start.
